KATCH_e project presented at lecture on Sustainability

Prof. Teresa Franqueira, from the University of Aveiro, presented the KATCH_e project at the lecture series promoted by the Observaria Birdwatching Fair, on the 12th of April.

Entitled “Sustainability/ from theory to practice”, the lecture was promoted by Estarreja municipality, integrated in an event focused not only in bird watching, but also in science communication and environmental awareness and education.

With the participation of a diverse audience, the curricular unit promoted at UA within the KATCH_e project evoked much interest because it implied the joint work of students with different backgrounds. Some audience members even suggested adding other scientific areas, such as biology, for a more comprehensive knowledge on CE impacts and challenges.
