Testing KATCH_e outputs in Portugal
Following the SME training program in Circular Economy resulting from the protocol between LNEG and IAPMEI (Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation) a series of 6 workshops are being held in Lisbon and Oporto since mid-October. The training sessions were structured with a theoretical framework complemented by case studies based on the project modules contents and a set of practical exercises supported by the tools under development by the KATCH_e consortium. The two topics already covered in the sessions were those from Circular Design of Products and Services and Business Models for the Circular Economy. The 80 participants in workshops demonstrated high levels of interest, receptivity, participation and discussion in the topics covered and in the KATCH_e project activities and results.
This cycle of training will end in December with two training sessions focusing on Life cycle thinking, circular economy and ISO 14001 and in total, around 120 trainees from companies, associations, consultants and other professional will benefit from the KATCH_e training resources under development.
