The Finnish Presidency Event: European Days for Sustainable Circular Economy
The event will take place on September 30th–October 1st , 2019 at the Finlandia Hall, Helsinki.
The aim of the European Days for Sustainable Circular Economy event is to promote a low-carbon, climate resilient circular economy. This flagship event will be held 30 September–1 October in Helsinki in connection with Finland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The event will consist of three parallel conferences:
- CE 2019 Conference – Sustainable transition to a low-carbon, climate resilient circular economy: creating the knowledge base
- Manufuture 2019 Conference – Sustainable and Smart Manufacturing
- SI 2019 Conference – Sustainable innovation
The event is relevant to all who wish to contribute to enhancing the uptake of circular economy practices and the systematic transition towards a sustainable circular society and industry. The event will generate new knowledge and active dialogue while providing excellent networking opportunities for various stakeholders, including natural scientists, social scientists, technology scientists, R&D&I experts, industry and business representatives, investors, and public authorities, agencies and organisations.
The Event programme will focus on scientific and practical knowledge on the transition towards more sustainable circular economy. The sessions will cover topics such as systemic change, trade-offs and synergies, low-carbon circular economy in cities, different aspects of competitive, sustainable and resilient manufacturing and the role of digitalization in the circular economy.
